Policy
Policy: 603 Equality engages in non-partisan, issues-based advocacy to support legislation that empowers the LGBTQIA+ community to live to their full capacity within the Granite State, contributing to their local economies, and enriching their local communities by living their fully authentic lives. We do this through our 501(c)4 status through two ways:
Direct Lobbying
Candidate Support
Education + Empowerment
Education and Community empowerment are central to our mission. We aim to empower the LGBTQIA+ community through a variety of experiences, and educate all Granite Staters on issues and policies that impact their lives, and disproportionately harm the LGBTQIA+ community. Our hope is to build a sense of connection between all, to humanize and highlight the lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community, and to inform those who live in New Hampshire how they can engage in meaningful change. We do this work in partnership with a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor through three ways:
Safety + Resiliency
Safety and Resiliency are important cornerstones to the work we’re doing, so that LGBTQIA+ and allied Granite Staters can envision a safe and secure future for themselves and their loved ones in the state. These programs help to empower those within the LGBTQIA+ community to build mental, emotional, and physical strength and resilience, build strong community connections, and real-world skills in a supportive environment. We do this work in partnership with a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor through three ways:
State-wide Trauma-informed De-Escalation and Self Defense trainings
