Community & Comraderie

Cobra Lily Collective is an anticapitalist mutual aid collective that brings trans people of the Upper Valley together to provide care for each other. We hold a biweekly support group, share skills, host trainings, and help each other access healthcare, clothing, food, and resources in our community. They host two in-person adult peer support groups per month, one in-person youth support group, and a virtual surgery support group.

Manchester True Collaborative is New Hampshire’s First LGBTQIA+ Community Center, located in Manchester, NH. They host a variety of events, and are a thriving community hub.

NH Outright offers Caregiver support groups, youth groups, young adult groups, education & training, and connection to their GSA Network.

Transgender NH Facebook GroupTransgender New Hampshire (TGNH) is committed to supporting and building community between transgender and gender non-conforming people, as well as significant others, friends, families, and allies, in New Hampshire.

Queerlective is powered by the belief that art and community are essential tools for building a more just, joyful world. We celebrate and uplift our shared humanity through queer joy, art, and community connection.

Ventureproject leads backpacking and wilderness trips for the queer and transgender community.
They also conduct transgender inclusion workshops for educators, adventure professionals, summer camps and more!

Education

NH Seacoast LGBT History Project Video Archive was founded in 2015 to “research, document, and preserve the history of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people on the Seacoast of New Hampshire with emphasis on Portsmouth."

Food & Hunger

Gather NHis a comprehensive resource for accessing food and combating hunger in the Seacoast of NH. They are a trans-friendly organization that provides access to both direct aid and mutual aid.

Healthcare

Gender Diverse Care Coalition is a volunteer run coalition of service providers in New Hampshire working to expand awareness of existing gender affirming resources in the area.

Queer Care Fund is a grassroots initiative that helps ensure patients can access gender-affirming healthcare at Equality Health Center and Lovering Health Center. Funds raised through this program are distributed quarterly to both clinics, enabling them to provide care for patients who might otherwise face financial barriers.

Trans Youth Emergency Projectprovides 1-on-1 patient navigation servicesto help families of transgender youth identify a gender-affirming care provider in an access state (where care is legal), and offers families impacted by state bans on gender-affirming care travel grants of $500, renewable four times per year, to help them travel out-of-state for care.

Housing

Waypoint Host Home Services provides transitional housing for at-risk youth, ages 18-24. All hosts are screened and assessed by Waypoint.

Legal

ACLU-NH(The American Civil Liberties Union of New Hampshire) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to preserving the individual rights and liberties guaranteed in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution

GLAD Law is a leading civil rights organization dedicated to justice and equality for LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV.” GLAD Law Answers is a free legal helpline.

Mental Health

Gender Diverse Care Coalition is a volunteer run coalition of service providers in New Hampshire working to expand awareness of existing gender affirming resources in the area.

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people. We provide information & support to LGBTQ+ 
young people 24/7, all year round.

Trans Lifeline provides trans peer support for our community that’s been divested from police since day one. We’re run by and for trans people.
