How to advocate for issues you care about in New Hampshire
It’s vital to stay informed throughout the legislative process. Committee chairs set the following week’s schedule at 5pm on every Thursday, and it’s released to the public with only a short window for public input. Staying informed means you’re ready to voice your opinion and engage with the process even when there is only a short window of time to do so.

We recommend engaging with your legislators around bills and issues important to you throughout the legislative season so these issues and your opinions on them stay relevant to legislators. You can submit a written letter, an emailed letter, or call their office. Make sure your elected officials are operating with your best interests in mind.

Share how you feel about proposed legislation by testifying online or in-person and by writing a letter to the editor to your local paper. Sharing your opinions on pending legislation can help spread awareness, sway opinions, and let those being targeted know that they are cared for within their community.
