603 Equality was founded in 2023 to address the increased need for LGBTQIA advocacy in New Hampshire. In recent years, trans people have increasingly come under attack and have been targeted with many discriminatory bills all across the country. We’re here to fight for your right to live free, and that’s only possible with the amazing amount of support we’ve gotten from our community.

About Us

Mission

603 Equality is a community driven, statewide organization that works to promote the well-being of LGBTQIA+ people in New Hampshire by advocating for inclusive legislation and policy change through direct advocacy, community empowerment, education, and coalition-building.

Vision

We aim to build communities where LGBTQIA+ people, across identity, have the safety to live authentically, with access to care and community.

Values

We seek to activate a spirit of growth and connection in our work, rooted in curiosity, accountability, and the knowledge that cultural shifts are critical to create space for policy change. We operate from a framework of collective liberation and intersectionality that understands our oppressions are linked, and we must work as a community toward freedom for all at the margins.

“If you are not personally free to be yourself in that most important of human activities—the expression of love—then life itself loses its meaning.”

- Harvey Milk
