Fighting for LGBTQ+ Rights

01 — Political Advocacy

Every year during the legislative session from January to June, we help people testify at the statehouse against laws that would harm us and for laws that would advance justice and equity for all. We also assist constituents in arranging meetings with their state legislators so they can learn more about what LGBTQ+ people are experiencing in New Hampshire.

02 — Building Community Support

Building a united community around New Hampshire helps connect people from across the state who support each other, give advice, and organize their local communities to promote positive change. 603 Equality is dedicated to helping people get connected to organizations and causes they care about.

03 — Raising Public Awareness

A big part of advocacy work is making the public more aware of the issues we face in our everyday lives and in the political sphere. As part of that, we assist community members write op-eds talking about their personal experiences to inform their neighbors about the issues we face.

04 — Gender-affirming Care Fund

Beginning in 2023 in partnership with the Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire, the gender-affirming care fund has been our way of supporting trans people in need of financial support during their transition. If you’d like to support a Granite Stater in need of help who is unable to afford it, please consider donating to the fund here.
