Current Projects
We work to create a positive future for LGBTQIA+ New Hampshire on three levels: Political, Cultural, and Personal.
Policy
We directly advocate for positive State and Federal policy, in the State House, in the community, and online.
As the next legislative season emerges, keep an eye on our policy section for updates on bills, testimony, and other opportunities to advocate for good change in the state and nation.
In the process, we collaborate with organizations that share our values and goals, working together to provide a broad net of real support.
Storytelling
As the cultural narrative leans toward stigma and erasure for LGBTQIA+ people, a bold solution is to simply, openly tell our stories to those who will listen.
We host monthly events throughout the state, in which community members tell their stories at vulnerable depth to the broader community. The intent is to be seen with empathy - humanizing us in the process. Long-term, this will educate voters about the impact of negative policy.
Please check our events page for upcoming storytelling events.
De-Escalation and Self-Defense
The current cultural and policy environment has opened up new risks for LGBTQIA+ community members - harassment, bathroom challenges, violence.
We offer bimonthly trauma-informed safety trainings to small groups of community members. The trainings scale from verbal de-escalation to light self-defense, with a focus on exiting a dangerous scene with minimal impact.
Please check our events page for upcoming De-Escalation events.
