Volunteer opportunties

We’re looking for volunteers to help us with every area of our organization. Whether you have a passion for community engagement, an interest in our events and programming, or a curiosity to get more engaged with policy, we have a volunteer opportunity for you.

Community Captain Volunteer

Community Captains are mobilizing forces for 603 Equality within their geographic areas. They help execute the state-wide mission of the organization through grassroots organizing and volunteering within their own neighborhoods and communities. Additionally, they also act as a point of connection between communities and 603 Equality, helping to inform the state-wide organization of issues affecting their local LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride Volunteer

Pride is a celebration of resilience and community - a testament to the strength and joy of the LGBTQ+ community. Pride volunteers are expected to set up tents, tables, and organization materials and speak to the mission, projects, and programming pillars of what 603 Equality does. Pride Volunteers should feel confident to encourage participation, community engagement, and fundraising from Pride attendees, and seek to build meaningful connections between community members and 603 Equality.

Tabling Volunteer

Tabling at partner events is an essential part of community building. As a Table Volunteer, you’ll get the chance to interface with community partners, and talk with the public about the important work we’re doing at 603 Equality. Tabling volunteers are expected to set up tents, tables, and organization materials and speak to the mission, projects, and programming pillars of what 603 Equality does. Tabling Volunteers should feel confident to encourage participation, community engagement, and fundraising from Pride attendees, and seek to build meaningful connections between community members and 603 Equality.
