603 Equality was founded in 2023 to address the increased need for LGBTQ+ advocacy in New Hampshire. In recent years, trans people have increasingly come under attack and have been targeted with many discriminatory bills all across the country. We’re here to fight for your right to live free, and that’s only possible with the amazing amount of support we’ve gotten over this past year.

About Us

Mission

603 Equality is a community driven, statewide organization that works to promote the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people in New Hampshire by advocating for inclusive legislation and policy change on the state and local levels. We seek to create this systemic change by fostering community connectivity, education, and coalition-building.

Vision

We aim to build communities where LGBTQ+ people can thrive, live authentic lives no matter our race, ability, age, sexual orientation, gender identities and expressions, religious identity, or socioeconomic status.

Values

We seek to activate a spirit of growth and connection in our work, rooted in love, accountability, and curiosity. We operate from a framework of justice and intersectionality that understands our oppressions are linked, and we must work as a community toward freedom for all at the margins.

“If you are not personally free to be yourself in that most important of human activities—the expression of love—then life itself loses its meaning.”

- Harvey Milk
