LGBTQIA+ Policy
in New Hampshire

Inclusive Legislation and Policy Change

The primary purpose of 603 Equality is to advocate for positive LGBTQIA+ policy within the state of New Hampshire. Under this adversity, we fight to reduce the harm of negative legislation. We educate the community about emerging State and Federal policy, organize testimony and protest at the State House, and provide online activism to bring positive changes into reality.

2026 New Hampshire Legislation

The NH House and Senate consider legislation in NH between January and June of every year.

In this off-season, members propose new bills as Legislative Service Requests, or LSRs for short.  At the moment over 1000 LSRs have been proposed, including at least five “bathroom bills”, two attacks on DEI, attacks on trans care for youth, removing chosen gender from drivers licenses, and more.

Stay tuned to this space as the season develops.  We will provide detailed information about bills that we consider threats to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as bills that promote community freedom and autonomy.

2026 Federal Legislation

The last year has been characterized by an unprecedented attack on LGBTQIA+ issues at the Federal level.

We work to educate and mobilize our NH community about the impact of these policies to institutions, funding, and our lives here in the Granite State.
