Candidates

The bottom of this page includes our candidate engagement policies. This public document is designed to be a living and breathing representation of the ways in which 603 Equality engages with candidates through partnership.

Here’s what we do not do:

  • We do not endorse candidates.

  • We do not offer financial support to candidates.

Here’s how we engage in electoral work:

  • Advise on policy issues & communications strategies about LGBTQIA+ issues.

  • Schedule and plan candidate engagement events in partnership with candidates so our community can better understand candidate platforms.

  • Develop and provide guides and strategy materials around best-practices for LGBTQIA+ issues.

  • Share and inform our community about how candidates currently stand on LGBTQIA+ issues.

  • Work to connect our community with candidates vying for their votes through a variety of methods.

Candidate Engagement Policy

Candidate Support

603 Equality does not endorse candidates.

Instead, we work with a range of candidates to best support the LGBTQIA+ community and the issues that have a direct impact on the lives of our community members.

603 Equality works to ensure that lawmakers will support policy that empowers the LGBTQIA+ community to live to their full capacity within the Granite State. 603 Equality is a non‐partisan organization that partners with candidates and elected officials who support a full range of LGBTQI+ issues regardless of political party or affiliation.

Prior to Filing Period

603 Equality will offer issues-based information to candidates who are interested in learning more about our policy platforms and advocacy work. 603 Equality is a non‐partisan organization that partners with candidates and elected officials who support a full range of LGBTQI+ issues regardless of political party or affiliation.

603 Equality will not engage with new candidates on policy platform and advocacy work until after the filing period has concluded.

Candidates who are running for re-election or who are running for higher office are invited, as all current legislators are invited, to work closely with 603 Equality to understand and advocate for LGBTQI+ issues and policies.
