Trans Day of Rememberance - Concord

Join us on November 21st at 5:30PM in Concord to honor the memory of transgender people who have lost their lives to anti-transgender violence. We'll gather in community, speak the names of those we've lost, and hear from those fighting for trans justice in New Hampshire. There will be space for community members to share the names of those missing from the public lists of those we've lost.

Exact location will be sent to vetted RSVPs two days before the vigil for safety. Vigil will take place accessible to downtown, indoors with extra security measures to protect attendees and speakers. There are two accessible free parking lots adjacent to the building. Masks are optional and provided. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

In light of the loss of SNAP benefits for millions of people, we encourage attendees to come with donations for a local food pantry/community thrift store. Donations can include cash, shampoo and bar soap, and Thanksgiving box items (boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, macaroni or pasta, canned cranberry sauce, etc.)

*This community vigil is in collaboration with 603 Equality, BLM NH, Reproductive Equity Now, Manchester True Collaborative, Planned Parenthood NH, New Hampshire Youth Movement, NH Outright, and Equality Health Center. Thank you Gibson's Cafe for donating cider!
