Join us on Wednesday, February 11th, to tell our senators: No Hate in the Granite State! 603 Equality, NH Outright, ACLU NH, and others, will be supporting community members as we fight back against discriminatory anti-transgender legislation.
We invite the community to join us for lunch at 11AM, walk over for a visibility at the State House at 12PM, and then testify (or hold down visibility) against two dangerous anti-trans bills starting at 1PM.
SB552 (Senate Judiciary, State House, Room 103, at 1pm) Why We Oppose: This bill is titled "permitting classification of individuals based on biological sex under certain limited circumstances" and is another bathroom ban. As with the other trans bans, enforcement of this discriminatory policy would create serious privacy and safety concerns for all.
SB459 (Senate Judiciary, State House, Room 103, at 1:20pm) Why We Oppose: This bill is titled "relative to biological sex in student athletics and prisons" and is another trans ban. As with the other trans bans, enforcement of this discriminatory policy would create serious privacy and safety concerns for all.
